gotta post every now and then so ppl know i'm still around. so....nothin much new is going on. i guess i didn't get the 2nd job i wanted so i have to find another 2nd job to apply for cuz i kinda need more money. be kinda nice. also, my apt is real messy and i don't feel like cleaning up. but today is gonna be pretty so i don't wanna do it today either. i think i'm gonna go to pawapi and help mundo climb trees. since it's gonna be pretty today. ok that's it. peace out. |

my cat thinks he's a parrot. i'm just surfing away on my computer and he's on my lap, and he suddenly just climbs up onto my shoulder and sits there. he's a bit bigger than a parrot though so it kinda started hurting. but it was really random and cute. |

short but sweet update of recent events:
i finally have internet on my computer again! :-)
i got the coin in the greek bread-cake! :-)
bhs class of 2002 is having a 5-yr reunion! :-)
i sold all my books from the last 2 yrs for $200! :-)
work is going really well right now! :-)
i feel extra loved and peacefull lately! :-)
that's enough for now. gotta ease back into this thing they call the internet. |

this is kinda neat
funny thing is, it also shows you guys. i did this twice w/ 2 dif pics, and this is the results i like best, but the only one that was in both of them? leonardo dicaprio. ...yay...? ick! lol.

well, that's it. i'm done with school. i finished! no more clsses. i had my last final on thursday morning. it was really weird. the professor put a note on the answer sheet..."to graduating seniors: i wish you the best of luck, etc etc" so of course i got all teary-eyed and stuff right before i started taking the test. but hey now it's over! haven't got my grade back yet but i know it's at least a 3.5, maybe even a 4.0 :-) that is unless i bombed the final but i really don't think so lol. but it's funny. it's only the 3rd day after class ended and i'm already bored. i'm not even done yet, i have my internship to finish for which i have to write a paper at the end. but then what? i acutally thought about going in to work today cuz i didn't have anything else to do. but this is my first day off in like 13 days so i thought better of it. eh, tomorrow i get to go back so it's ok. ho hum. maybe i'll go work out, that sounds like a good idea. ok going to do that now, bye. |

i guess it's been awhile so i'll make a post.
i graduated. meaning i went thru commencement, i still have a class and my internship to finish.
i went camping w/ corey's family and the rest of the community over the weekend. it was super fun, we played lots of softball and i got to hang out w/ ppl w/out worrying about anything and it was a really good time. it deserves more attention than this but i'm tired.
i work a lot now. but i don't get paid for all of it cuz some of it is interning and that's unpaid. but pretty soon i will be all done.
um what else. i dunno. if there's anything you wanna know ask in a comment.
i'm kinda worn out, i think it's bedtime. night! |

today was good. i didn't sleep very long, only like 2.5-3 hrs, but that's ok. i got up at like 6:20ish and finished preparing for my debate. i went to work for like 5 hrs. i came home and put finishing touches on my debate notes. i went to my debate an hr early to meet w/ my group first but we didn't talk about our debate, we just sat around chatting w/ each other and other ppl in the class. our debate went real well. the teachers liked us and said we were entertaining lol. plus also we got the topic i was most prepared to discuss and i even got the side i wanted; we got steroids and our group got "steroids shoud be illegal" and the other group had to do "steroids should be legal." i coulda argued either side but i'm glad i got to argue the side that i believe in lol.
after the debate i went straight to the track meet. i was only like 25 min late but i just missed the 55 hurdles. like, they were taking them off the track when i got there. grr. but that's ok, ppl told me how they did. and it was AWESOME! billy broke the record by like almost a whole second and scott tied the old record. yippee! and last week leanne broke the record for girls. and i am their coach, go me! lol. and both boys and girls won today, woot :-)
i went back to work for like an hr to finish some stuff i didn't finish this morning. then i went outside to my car and it was an awesome night and i felt like running. so when i got home that's what i did. i ran 3.6 miles and it felt amazing. then i went to meijers and got cereal, milk, and bananas and kitty food. then i got some ice cream and put a cut up banana in it and came up here and started talking to corey online but it was chris so i talked to him and then i started writing this. and now i'm talking to corey and writing this. and i'm about to finish talking and writing and go downstairs and eat hamburger helper w/ jen. but i won't watch all of american idol cuz i don't care about it. anyway that was my good day. it was such a beautiful lovely sunny day too. yay!

home stretch! almost done! i have a test tomorrow in anatomy, which should go fine; it's only 30 questions and it's easier stuff than the last two tests. side note: i saw the most amazing head yesterday, it was cut along the saggital plane (separating right and left) and it was the most perfect cut ever, you could see everything in there; different parts of the brain, the brain stem, the mouth including the tounge which was also cut perfectly in half!! and the sinus cavities too. so way awesome!! if you've seen a picture in a book of that view of the head, it looked exactly like that minus the yellow and red and blue colors.
so anyway. that's first thing tomorrow, 8am. after that i have nothing til track at 3! which i don't usually go to on thursdays cuz of lots of classes but i have time tomorrow cuz my 3 middle classes are cancelled! :-) then dress rehearsal and my concert is at 7:30 (in fairchild, you should come if ur here, students get in free!) then next week on tuesday i have a test and wednesday i have a debate and i'm DONE with this semester! and i graduate on sat may 6. then i have one class this summer, over on june 29 and that is my last class EVER! and my internship will last til august and then i get my diploma and i'm ALL DONE WITH COLLEGE!!!! so crazy. then i get to start living the rest of my life. wow. hopefully i'll have a good job so i can like buy food without feeling bad for spending the money. cuz that really sucks like a whole lot.
k this keyboard sucks so i'm gonna shut up now. ttfn! |

sorry about the ads. but they're not really all that annoying right? and it lets me have lots of userpics and also galleries! so i'm in the lab right now but when i have time at home i will make galleries and it will be fun. woot! and it's free, how sweet is that?? yay!!
in other news: having lots of fun w/ katie, she's here this week. we just had lunch at the parlour :-) and she's coming to the track meet w/ me today. which brings me to: first track meet today! i think they're gonna do really well. i'll post about it later. if i remember or feel like it. lol.

i just looked at my first entry and it was on 4/4/04.....i just missed it by 2 days! so happy anniversary to my first post in lj! (it's not when i created it cuz it was awhile b4 i made a post, origianally i created it so i could comment non-annonymously in christina's journal.)
can you tell i'm bored? look at the things i post. who cares about this? it's pointless and stupid and no one has time for it. unless they also are bored, in which case either they are mad at me cuz they're still bored cuz this is not interesting or they're glad at me for giving them something to read. either way, at least i'm not as bored. but whatever, i'm a dork and i'm proving it with this post so um....bye. |

ho-hum. i forgot to put my book back in my backpack. and there is so much time til my class cuz i got out way early from my last one. so i already checked email and read my friend's page and all that jazz and i'm bored so here's an update.
i had test #4 in anatomy lab this morning. i think i did ok. not good, but not bad. just ok. i mean i knew most of the muscles, but some of them they were mean about cuz they'd like tag one on the back of the leg but have the body laying on its back, thus you have to bend way over the body and it smells very strongly of fermaldehyde (SO butchered that spelling) and you still can't quite see which one it is. they forgot to mention that we had to know the posterior muscles from the anterior side and vice-versa so i never studied that way. duh. do they even want us to do good in this class? for real man, come on. but at least i'm done studying muscles and their stupid origins, insertions, and actions!! :-) one more test in that class. i think it's guts. and parts of the heart and stuff. won't that be pleasant to look at.
so i am doing well so far in my classes, and they are almost done; i think i will end up on top this semester! current estimated grades:
orchestra: 4.0. this should stay that way or i will cry.
anatomy: 3.0. just took a test and don't know how i did; if i got around 75% i think it'll stay the same.
aerobic instruction: 3.5. i am very close to a 4.0, if i do well on my testing next week i should bump up.
adaptive swimming: 3.5. this will most likely stay the same, provided i get at least 80/100 on my final.
sport sociology: don't have this folder with me. i'll edit this one in later. if i remember and feel like it.
bowling: it's a pass/no pass class. if i don't pass then i will kill myself cuz anyone who fails bowling is not fit to be a human being on this earth.
so there ya go. pretty good. and there's only 3 weeks left of class, and then finals week! and i only have 1 test to study for; only 2 classes have a final, and sport soc. is gonna be a debate. so yay! and i'm done with it on wednesday. hoorah! then on saturday, may 5 i will walk across the stage in the auditorium and they will hand me a fake diploma cuz i can't have my real one til august after i take my last-ever class and complete my internship. so very close to being done with school forEVER!!!!! i wonder what it's like not to worry about homework and papers and tests? i don't even remember! it will be great. but weird. i've been a student since i was 5 yrs old, and after 17 years of school i'm finally almost done. i'm starting to sort of understand why ppl go to grad school; being a student is familiar. BUT! still not going! at least not yet, and i have no plans to either. you never know what the future will bring though. but since i plan on getting married and having kids, i will be a mom/wife first and have a career second. so a bunch more school and tons more money doesn't sound appealing. nope.
wow sorry about the rambling. didn't mean to go off on a tangent there. i'm hungry. i forgot to bring a sandwich today. :-( if i wasn't so broke i'd walk over to the library and get some food in the cafe. but i am so broke so that wouldn't be a smart idea right? but i'm hungry, waa! i won't be home til like 2. sigh. oh well. i'll live.
well there's still over an hr til class starts but i've run out of things to say. so i'll end here and go waste more time playing games or something. ttfn! |

got my wisdom teeth out finally. yay...? i mean good, they're gone, but ow. right now it hurts like a lot. and the stitches in my mouth are really annoying. and i'm getting sick of eating mushy food. i mean yeah ice cream and pudding and jello are yummy. but i want like, cereal and penut butter and jelly! humph. soon hopefully.
i am very gratefull to those who took care of me all weekend. that would be my mom, corey, jennifer, and chris. thanks guys! especially my mom, who drove all this way just for lil ol me, and corey, who spent his whole weekend entirely at work and my house except when he went home for a few hrs a night to sleep. and he and chris watched buffy with me all day on sunday. that's seriously all we did. i was still on the last like 10 min of monk when chris got there, and then it was all buffy. also jennifer took work off on friday for me. aww, it's nice to feel loved!
i don't remember the surgery, i was asleep. actually i dont even remember sleeping. i was on gas and i was feeling all floaty and relaxed, and i was humming or singing or something, and then suddenly someone was shoving cotton in my mouth and saying "ok you're done!" i was like "huh? aren't you gonna take my teeth out? oh, wait. it's pokey in there. and there's big holes. wow they're already gone!" lol it was weird. i find it very strange that i don't even remember falling asleep at all. it's all very hazy. i do remember already feeling funny from the gas and then the doctor put something in the IV and told me it was medication and it would make me feel dizzy and lightheaded. i'm like what, more than i already am? but at that point all i could do was go "uunnghhngoh k." really, do they sell laughing gas in bulk? it was a very relaxing pre-sleep.
ok enough of the random memories of the pulling of the wisdom teeth. i did horribly on my practical last week. wanna know? 47/100. i mean geeze! that's so terrible! luckily i was doing so well before that i am still getting a 3.0 in the class right now. i just have to study harder and do at least ok next time so my grade doesn't drop any more.
ok that's all for now, i'm tired but i gotta go to class so....yeah. ttfn! |
